Our coils and components go through several tests to ensure the quality and durability of our products.
Materials such as tubes and pipes go through the manufacturer’s quality inspection and testing as outlined by ASTM/ASME. During, shop fabrication and installation, coil components are visually inspected.
Assembled coils are charged with dry nitrogen at a minimum of 250 PSIG and submerged underwater to test for leaks. A higher test pressure may be used depending on the application and operating conditions. A test pressure certificate of compliance can be provided if requested when the coil is ordered.
We also can provide electronic sniffer and vacuum pull down leak tests. If you require a different testing method or have questions please contact the nearest Super Radiator Coils facility.
