We offer basic and heavy duty designs for difficult steam applications. Our Steam Distributing (SD) and Standard Steam (STD) coils are fabricated from copper tubes with copper or aluminum fins (other materials are available). They are suitable for steam pressures up to 150 PSIG and designed for a variety of heating and drying applications.
- Our Steam Distributing (Non-Freeze) coil is ideal to handle low pressure steam that is being modulated and/or if the air entering the coil is below freezing.
- Our Standard Steam coil is designed to handle large amounts of steady steam and provide quick condensate removal.
- Our 5SS Steam coil product line has thermal performance that is ARI certified.
- Our Super Steam products offer additional cost savings and quick delivery where a specific overall coil size and construction are not critical.
Custom and heavy duty steam coils can be built to withstand steam pressures of 300 psig or higher. Strong cupro-nickel, carbon steel, or stainless steel materials are available. Coils may have 5/8″, 7/8″, and 1″ outside diameter tubes and wall thickness of up to .109″. Fin thickness can range up to .020″ on certain materials. Larger OD and/or thicker wall tubes may be available with the optional helically finned tube line.
Our steam coils accommodate thermal expansion and contraction for long fin lengths and/or high temperature/pressure applications. Each can be built for various connection and mounting orientations, and with or without tube pitch. Optional ASME, CRN and CE certifications are available for both brazed and welded coil construction.
