Super Radiator Coils facilities have a variety of equipment dedicated to building cost-effective coils:
- Fin presses with more than 20 different plate fin size/patterns. Many of these fin lines are duplicated at all three plants.
- Tube machines which handle 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 7/8" and 1" OD tube sizes. This equipment straightens and cuts the tubes to the proper length. The tubes are then formed into a hairpin shape, eliminating the need for return bends and the associated brazed or welded joints at one end of the coil.
- Tube expansion equipment capable of expanding up to 1" x .109" wall carbon steel tubes.
- Helical finning machine that allows fabrication of coils with long-finned tube lengths on non-traditional tube centers. This equipment is capable of wrapping fins on 5/8" to 2" OD tubes or pipes.
- CNC mills that accurately locate the tube holes on headers/manifolds. Milling also produces holes that are round and sized to tight tolerances. This is critical for strong brazed or welded tube-to-header joints.
- Equipment that cleans coils by using a solvent. The solvent is an excellent degreasing agent. It does not affect the coil materials and leaves no oily residue.
We are constantly expanding our capabilities and adding new equipment. If you have any questions, please contact the nearest Super Radiator Coils facility.
