AF - Air Friction Loss through the coil usually measured as Inches Water Gauge ("Wg.) or Air Flow usually followed by an arrow indicating its direction
AL - Aluminum
BTUH - BTU/Hour (See "Q")
CH/CL/CD - Coil Casing Height, Length and Depth
Cp - Specific Heat of a fluid or a solid
cP - Centipose, a viscosity unit of measure for fluids
cSt - Centistokes, a viscosity unit of measure for fluids
CS - Carbon Steel
CU - Copper
CU/NI - Cupro / Nickel
CW - Chilled Water
Db/Wb - Air Dry and Wet Bulb Temperatures
DIA - Diameter
DX - Direct Expansion
EAT/EWT/EFT - Entering Air, Water and Fluid Temperature
EDB/EWB - Entering Air Dry and Wet Bulb Temperatures
EG - Ethylene Glycol usually measured as a percentage by volume or weight
FA - Coil Face Area usually measured in Square Feet (Ft2)
FV - Air Velocity through the coil measured as Feet Per Minute (FPM)
FH/FL/FD - Coil Fin Height, Length and Depth
FPF - Fins per Foot
FPI - Fins per Inch
FPT - Female Pipe Threads
HL - Heat Load (see "Q")
HW - Hot Water
HX - Heat Exchanger or Heat Transfer
k - Thermal Conductivity of a fluid or solid
KW - Kilowatts
LAT/LWT/LFT - Leaving Air, Water and Fluid Temperature

OH/OL/OD - Overall Coil Height, Length and Depth
p - Density of a fluid or solid
PD - Fluid Pressure Drop usually measured in Feet of Water (Ft. H2O)
Q - Heat Load usually measured as BTU/Hr.
RFSO - Raised Face/Slip On style of pipe flange connection
RH - Air Relative Humidity as a percentage, or Right Hand coil orientation
SAT - Saturated, usually refers to the state of the air or steam
SD - Steam Distributing Coil
Sg - Specific Gravity of a fluid or solid
SST - Saturated Suction Temperature (see definition) or Stainless Steel
SSU - Saybolt Seconds Universal, a viscosity unit of measure for fluids
ST - Suction Temperature (see "SST")
STD - Standard or Standard Steam Coil
TF - Tube Face (see definition)
THR - Total Heat of Rejection (see definition)
TX - Thermal Expansion Valve

Other Terminology
FOB - "Freight On Board" is a shipping term which means that the person receiving the shipped goods takes responsibility for the goods and filling for any freight damage claims, once it leaves the seller/pick-up point.
Collect - The freight costs are collected when the freight arrives at the delivery point.
PPD - "Pre-Paid" is a shipping term meaning the freight costs are already paid for, usually by the seller, so that no funds need to be collected at the buyer's receiving dock.
PPD & Add - "Pre-Paid and Add" is a term used to indicate that the buyer will pay the freight costs by having those costs added to his invoice for the goods, so that no funds need to be collected at his receiving dock.
Devd - "Delivered Price" A term used to indicate that the price shown on an order includes ALL costs (product, shipping, etc.) to get the product from the seller to the buyers' door.
