Case Studies-Gasoline Vapor Recovery System
In some cases Super Radiator Coils' engineering played a major role in helping to solve difficulties in a customer's new product line or system that had not been attempted before. In other cases, Super Radiator Coils provided solutions for chronic system or coil problems.
Below are several examples of such cases and how our engineering team, working directly with the customer, was able to ascertain the challenge or the root problem and provide a viable solution.
Gasoline Vapor Recovery Unit
This unit was designed by Super Radiator Coils utilizing our coils and our coil design. Payback on these gasoline vapor recovery units at loading terminals can be less than 12 months for larger units; however, where the terminals load 18 hrs/day, the payback is about 3 years. For small terminals which only load 5-6 hrs/day the payback is about 5 years.
So far we have designed and quoted several of these gasoline vapor recovery units and have finished 2 to 3 projects in 2005. One of these units requires at least 8 coils with 4 different designs.
With what is going on with the oil industry we need to recover as much gasoline as possible and at the same time we can make a better environment for the world.
